On April 22, at the Kinomax IMAX cinema, with the support of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of Southern Federal University, a special screening of the Spanish “Alcarràs”, the winner of the Berlin Film Festival and an Oscar contender from Spain, will take place. According to the plot, the life of a family of farmers growing peaches in the village of Alcarràs in Catalonia seemed like paradise. However, everything changes when the owner of their estate dies, and his heir decides to sell the land. Misfortunes never come singly — he needs to clear a place for a new business, which means that very soon he will level their peach orchard to the ground...
