Division of Russian as a Foreign Language and General Courses for International Students (Preparatory Department)

The aim of the Division of Russian as a Foreign Language and General Courses for International Students (Preparatory Department) is to make foreign citizens be ready for studying at any Russian University where subjects are delivered in Russian.

There are five areas of focus: Engineering-technical studies;   Biomedical Science;  Natural Sciences; Humanities; Economics.

- Socio-Cultural Adaptation School for International Students

- Student Volunteer School

- Laboratory of Distance Learning of Russian Language and Culture for International Students

- International Laboratory for Cross-Cultural Competences Investigation

How to apply:

To have a study visa is essential for studying at the Southern Federal University (SFedU).

One can get study visa after getting invitation from SFedU and on presenting the required documents at the Russian embassy (located in their country).

International summer school of the Russian language and culture

The International summer school of the Russian language and culture offers to its students various training programs. In addition to intensive language study summer school program implies cross-cultural program: sightseeing tours  around Rostov-on-Don; educational, cultural and entertainment activities; classes in the workshop of the Russian club, etc.
