Southern Federal University is a co-organizer of the international Olympiad on translation from English

On April 27, 2023, the Olympiad on Translation from English into Russian will take place at the site of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of SFedU. The Olympiad is organized by Minsk State Linguistic University (Belarus) with the support of Southern Federal University, Moscow City Pedagogical University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and other Russian universities. The Olympiad jury consists of experienced translators, translation teachers and representatives of translation companies. Participants will receive certificates, and the winners will receive diplomas and memorable prizes from the organizers.

Participation in the Olympiad is considered as an achievement in Section 3 “Results of educational activity” of the portfolio competition “Master's Student of SFedU” for the program “Theory of Translation and intercultural Communication” and “Spanish/Russian as a foreign language in the international educational space”.
