XX Annual All-Russian Scientific and Practical Student Conference with international participation “LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND CULTURE OF IBEROAMERICA” took place at SFedU

On December 9 and 10, the XX Annual All-Russian Scientific and Practical Student Conference with international participation “LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND CULTURE OF IBEROAMERICA” was held at SFedU.

The organizer of the conference was the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of SFedU. The event took place in a hybrid format.

The President of SFedU Marina Borovskaya addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of the conference as a platform for students to exchange scientific experience and opinions, as well as interact with the aim of forming youth research groups in the international scientific space.

The students were particularly interested in the speeches of honorary guests of the conference, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ecuador to the Russian Federation Juan Fernando Holguin Flores and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to the Russian Federation Hector Arenas Nair. Honorary guests of the conference welcomed all participants and organizers of the event and presented their reports at the plenary session.

 

Natalia Karpovskaya, the Plenipotentiary representative of the Rector of SFedU in the countries of the Ibero-American area, Director of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies, addressed a welcoming speech to all those present, wishing the conference a successful and productive work and noting that this event has been held annually for twenty years, contributing to the growth of mutual understanding and strengthening ties between peoples.

Students of Southern Federal University and other universities attended the conference.

Traditionally, the XIII International Academic Internet Talks were organized at the conference site within the framework of the Virtual University “World without Borders”. At the event representatives of the National Autonomous University of Mexico Angeles Delgado Patricia, the University of Veracruz (Mexico) Reyes Nunez Miriam Heila and the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) Lobos Omar acted as lecturers.

In total, more than 150 people from Russia, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Laos took part in the event. During the breakout sessions, more than 100 reports were presented in both Russian and Spanish.
