The "Read Russia" Award is the only Russian award given for the best translation of a piece of the Russian literature into a foreign language. It was established by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Institute of Translation" in 2011. It is awarded every two years with the support of the Federal Agency of Press and Mass Communications (Rospechat) and the Presidential Fund of B.N. Yeltsin ”(Yeltsin Center). It is awarded to a translator (group of translators) for the best translation of a prose or poetic work from Russian into a foreign language published by one of the foreign publishers during the last two years .
