Festival "Dialogue of languages and cultures" was held in SFedU

On February 20, the International Institute for Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies held the Festival "Dialogue of Languages ​​and Cultures" dedicated to the Mother-tongue Day.

More than 200 foreign students of the International Institute for Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies took part in the Festival.

Students prepared presentations about their native languages: Lingala, Swahili, Portuguese, Spanish, Serbian, Bulgarian, Russian, Dari, Bubi, Chinese, Turkmen, Quechua, Creole - and introduced everyone to their native culture.

The aim of the festival  was to popularize the Russian language, to establish intercultural dialogue and to help foreign students to adapt.
