On April 9, the IX International Academic Internet Talks "PHILOLOGY, INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION AND TRANSLATION IN THE XXI CENTURY" started at the SFedU International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies.
The lecturers of the academic online readings were representatives of leading Russian and foreign universities. The first day of the IX International Academic Internet Readings "Philology, Intercultural Communication and Translation in the XXI Century" was attended by Olga Chesnokova, Professor of the Peoples ' Friendship University of Russia, Vladimir Koval, Professor of the Francysk Skaryna Gomel State University (Belarus), Ji Eun Lee, Research Professor at Dong-A University (South Korea) and Andres Santana Arribas, Head of the International University Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia and the Pushkin Institute, University of Cadiz (Spain).
The topics of the lectures covered both general issues of philology and linguistics, as well as issues related to problems arising in the process of translation and intercultural communication.
On the first day of the International Academic Internet Readings, the event was attended by more than 100 students: students, undergraduates, postgraduates and teachers not only from Russia, but also from the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, South Korea and China.
On April 10, 2021, the second day of the IX International Academic Internet Readings "Philology, Intercultural Communication and Translation in the XXI Century" will be held, where scientists from Moscow State Linguistic University (Russia), Siberian Federal University (Russia), Voronezh State University (Russia), L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan) will speak. The language of online lectures and discussions: Russian. The event starts at 10: 00
