On December 4 the IV A scientific and methodological seminar with international participation "The Russian language in the international educational space" took place.
The seminar was held within the framework of the virtual university "World without Borders" implemented in the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don). The functioning of the Russian language in the international educational space was discussed.
The program of the scientific and methodological seminar included 26 reports from representatives of six countries (Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan) from the Southern Federal University, Suragchdyn Khogzhliyn Institute, L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, Sochi State University, Educational Institution “Gomel State Regional Palace of Creativity for Children and Youth”, Kazan Federal University, Kyrgyz-Turkish University “Manas”, Uzbek State University of World Languages.
The seminar site is an important place for the exchange of work experience in teaching the Russian language. The reports of Russian and foreign teachers were largely devoted to the trends of digital transformation of education and remote technologies of teaching Russian (the use of online platforms in teaching and audiovisual content in the classroom, the introduction of voice assistants for language practice). They also paid attention to the issues of teaching methods in the classroom without an intermediary language, the peculiarities of adaptation of foreign students from post-Soviet countries and far abroad, taking into account the native language and cultural specifics of students.
The seminar was held by the Southern Federal University together with the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University (Republic of Kazakhstan) and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University (Republic of Belarus) within the framework of the virtual university “World Without Borders” for the fourth time.
