SFedU took part in the project of Rossotrudnichestvo

Southern Federal University took part in the project of Rossotrudnichestvo to represent Russian universities in Latin America.

The International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies presented Southern Federal University on the virtual platform of Rossotrudnichestvo within the framework of the project “Presentation of Russian universities in Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Chile, Ecuador.”

On March 2, 2023, representatives of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies introduced to Spanish-speaking applicants the history, structural divisions of the University, educational programs of bachelor's, specialty and master's degrees, including programs fully implemented in English. During the presentation, the speakers paid special attention to the main areas of scientific, educational and international activities of Southern Federal University and presented all areas of study implemented at the University.

The presentation reflected the issues related to the algorithm of admission of foreign citizens to the University, the possibilities of training on a contractual and budgetary basis, the specifics of the competition for quotas of the Government of the Russian Federation and training at the Department of Russian language and general education disciplines for foreign students (sub-faculty) of SFedU.

Teachers of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies also told applicants about international academic mobility programs, cultural, educational and sports events, and other opportunities offered at Southern Federal University.

The Russian universities participating in the project had to prepare a set of presentation materials. Teachers and undergraduates of of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of SFedU, together with the Center for Public Communications of SFedU, have developed and translated into Spanish a new video and presentation reflecting basic information about Southern Federal University. Presentation materials were sent for publication on the virtual platforms of Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices in Latin America and will be available for Spanish-speaking applicants.
