Russian Language and General Education Subjects for foreign students of the International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies of SFedU Aimerey Marat became the winner of the V International Olympiad in Russian language and general education subjects in Russian for students of preparatory faculties of higher education institutions of the Russian Federation.
Russian Language Institute named after A. S. Pushkin hosted the V International Olympiad in Russian Language and General Education Subjects in Russian for students of preparatory faculties of higher education institutions of the Russian Federation from February 10 to April 1, 2023. A student from Mongolia, Marat Aimerey, became the absolute winner of the Olympiad among students in additional general education programs that provide preparation for the development of professional educational programs in Russian in the bachelor's degree and specialty universities of the Russian Federation. The main prize of the Olympiad is free training for a month at the International Summer Courses in the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language.
Aimerey successfully passed two competitive stages: at the first stage she completed a lexical and grammatical test in the Russian language and a test in specialized subjects. At the second stage, she prepared and presented a video presentation on the topic: “The name of the Teacher is in everyone's heart!”.
“I think Russia is an ideal place to get an education, and Rostov is the most beautiful southern city,” says Aimerey, “I want to be a good specialist. I really like the educational programs of Southern Federal University. I studied grammar, took tests and tried to improve my phonetics within the preparation for the Olympiad. My teacher in Russian, Anastasia Valeryevna, helped me a lot. She supported me at every stage and helped me prepare for the final.”
